We have been given a $10,000 grant from Centennial Water in order to create an example for the community of what a xeriscape (also known as low water) garden should look like. It has been in the process of being completed since July of 2018, and is expected to be worked on throughout the progression of the year.

Our first project is a big one -- the founders of the club are currently working on the installation of a living wall inside HRHS! For the wall, founders solicited funding from Douglas County School District's Green PBL Fund, along with donations from local plantscaping company Bristol Botanics. As of October 2017, the project received full funding and approval. Installation is set to take place during late 2017 or early 2018. Mockups are shown below: The planting, planning, installation, and maintenance processes will provide lots of service opportunities for members! Updates on opportunities will be sent out through our Remind. |
